The TCS Fine Arts program allows our students to further develop worthwhile leadership attributes. Students have the opportunity to get involved in art, drama, speech, band, and choir. Our students compete in the Alabama Association of Christian School state fine arts competition in February and March. First-place winners have the opportunity to compete on a national level in April.
Mr. Tim Harris directs our marching band and concert band. They participate in various competitions throughout the year. Elementary students have the opportunity to learn how to play a musical instrument beginning in 5th grade. After selecting an instrument at the beginning of the year, students attend band practice three days a week.
Elementary, junior high, and senior high choirs are directed by Mrs. Anne Miller. Students learn a mixture of patriotic, sacred, and fun songs to perform throughout the year. Last year the high school choir placed first in AACS competition.
This year there were two presentations: Peter Pan, Jr. in the spring and Little Women the Musical in the fall.
